The business model is a revision course developed for GCSE and A-level students who underperform in exams. The course puts a specific focus on exam technique. The ExamFox method is defined by practice, feedback, and the development of exam technique. This process is habit-forming and will drill the students into writing high quality answers in an exam or similar situation The indirect competition is private tuition and revision courses (market size £162m).

Private tuition has variable quality, no tutor training and no defined methodology. Revision courses are not as capable of working in detail with the individual and their specific learning needs. Currently there is no company that offers the same service as ExamFox. The ExamFox course is 20 hours long (10 hours practice and 10 hours feedback) and costs £399 for a one to one course and £199 for a group course (3 - 5 students). ExamFox takes place in an online virtual classroom with one tutor and one student (one-to-one).

The student and tutor are able to see each other, talk, share documents, videos, type and mark documents such as exam scripts.
